JIMMY SCHRAM WINS COORS LIGHT FEATURE AT SUNSET:

Jimmy Schram was bound to break through.
Schram, last year's Super Sport champion at Willamette Speedway, joined brother, Jerry, as an A-Main event winner Saturday Night in Coors Light Crate Engine Late Model Series action this season.
Schram, starting the main event in the seventh position, took the lead on the 10th lap and was out front for the remaining 30 revolutions around the 1/4-mile clay oval, holding off brother, Jerry, and third-place Eric Sayre for the win.
Kevin "Porkchop" Rodgers took the initial lead from the outside pole position and was out front when the caution flew on lap one when Jesse Freeman spun and collected Scott Puncochar and Steve Moore. Freeman and Puncochar did not return, but Moore did for the final few laps.
Jimmy Schram took over on lap 10 and held off all challengers for the win. Jerry Schram came forward from the 10th starting position to finish second. Sayre, the winner of the previous race, advanced to third after being put to the back of the pack to start the main event because of the series' rules. Greg Walters of Banks finished fourth with Joey Tanner placing fifth.
Lindberg, Billy "The Kid" Workman and Jeff Biffle rounded out the lead lap cars. Dwayne Potter finished ninth with Jeff Brookshire in tenth.
Moore set fast time with a lap of 14.129 seconds with Puncochar second fast at 14.334 and Walters third fast at 14.346.
Biffle won the first heat race from the fourth starting position with Rodgers in second and Jason Johnson in third.
Sayre won the second heat race from the fifth starting position with Lindberg in second and Walters in third.
Sayre led all four laps to win the trophy dash with Walters in second, Puncochar in third and Moore in fourth.
The series returns to action July 5 at Sunset with the Late Model Firecracker 150 OR-Cal Open.

On the closing laps after a late caution flag Jerry Schram #16 pressures feature race winner Jimmy Schram #22s with Eric Sayre #53 close in third.
Eric Sayre #53 and Jerry Schram #16 battle hard for the second spot during Saturday nights main event.
Top 3 finishers from the 40 lap Coors Light Dirt Late Model Crate Motor Series main event, left 2nd place finisher Jerry Schram, 3rd place Eric Sayre center and race winner Jimmy Schram. History was made as this was the first time that Jimmy and Jerry Schram finished 1st and 2nd and the Jerry Schram owned Eric Sayre #53 finished in 3rd.
