Jason Johnson has been a full time driver for the past two years, he will again drive the #76 Walters Racing, Thrifty Auto Supply, Dirt Late Model Monte-Carlo in 2003. His new season started in January down in Arizona racing the 2003 Early Thaw Series held at Central Arizona Raceway and Manzanita Speedway.
Jason will race in the Pacific Coast Dirt Late Model Series in 2003, a new touring series that will have the #76 team competing at dirt tracks in Oregon, Washington and California.
Career Highlights:
2001: Competed in his first full year of racing at Willamette Speedway, finished 2nd in the Rookie of the Year standings his first year driving 11th in the Super Sport dirt late model points championship standings.
2001: - Was awarded with the title of " Sportsman driver of the year" at Willamette Speedway at the end of the season in the Super Sport dirt late model division.
2002 - Competed in the Super Sport dirt late model division for the first half of the season before moving up into the Outlaw dirt late model division driving the #76 Thrifty Auto Supply Rayburn Monte-Carlo.
2002 - Competed in the Bud I-5 Challenge Touring Series to gain experience on different size racetracks.
2003 - PCDLM Series Jason had 0 Wins, 2 Top 5's, 6 Top 10's, 4 Heat Race Wins - He attended all 15 PCDLM Series races, and Qualified for the Feature in 12 races, his best finish was 3rd in Yakima, WA (on 5/30)
2004 - Pacific Coast Xtreme DirtCar Series, Jason finished the season out in 11th place in the driver championship points in 2004, his best finish was a 4th in Susanville, CA 8/14, 1 Top 5 finish, 3 Top 10's and won 1 Heat Race.
2005 - Jason finishes 6th in driver championship points on the touring Pacific Coast Xtreme DirtCar Series with 5 top 5 finishes and 10 top 10 finishes.
2006 - Jason and the team commit to running the entire crate motor Pacific Coast Fastrak DirtCar series.
